![]() Now their selection isn't what it used to be if you're coming in fresh today. until Williams pulled the license and they couldn't sell them anymore. They focused strictly on real life pinball and accurate physics. They had pretty much all the big names: Baily/Williams, Stern, and Gottlieb. Pinball Arcade used to be the gold standard. ![]() If you don't mind fake physics, there's some fun and interesting tables in their other selections. ![]() Their main downside is just it's taking time for them to get new Williams tables digitized. Plus, they have a cabinet mode you can turn on with a free code. With the Williams tables, they added in more accurate physics and able to play just regular ol' pinball. They can do things real pinball can't, but that's not what real life pinball players want. Their original tables have different ball physics that tended to be floater and otherwise just extra flashy on the field. But before that, they weren't looked at for serious pinball. Zen Studios and their Pinball FX series have garnered some fans, possibly moreso these days since they currently have the Williams license for Baily/Williams tables, makers of some of the best. If you can get your hands dirty and don't mind some frustrations, you're open to a whole world of tables and manufacturers. But as you may have figured, it requires more tinkering and troubleshooting because it's not a retail product. Most of the big tables are all represented.
